Defining Music
What is music?
- vocal or instrumental sounds (or both) combined in such a way as to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion.
How
and when it all did started? If my memory serves me right it was back in summer
of 2014. During a hot summer day I decided to look at my dad’s old cassette
tapes. All of them were unlabeled except for this one cassette tape, it was the
“ultraelectromagneticpop” of the band The Eraserheads. From that on I really
got hooked on Eraserheads and immediately fell inlove with their other famous
album “cuttterpillow”.
Eheads turned me into an audiophile. I play the guitar though I was just a novice and I have no intentions of learning it. But as time passes by, there's a band that really inspired me to play the guitar and it was the pioneer of “thrash metal” and the one of the greatest heavy metal band ever, Metallica. This band blew my mind for the first time when my dad played a full live concert in our television.

Their
performance was really powerful and full of adrenaline which inspired me to perform
on a live stage and to be energetic when performing in a massive live audience.
The Beatles and Parokya ni Edgar also served as an
inspiration for me to song write. Though it is still a learning curve and I need more practice on doing it.
Unforgettable music experience
Ah yes, one the best moments in my life, Battle of the Bands
2018. This was my first time playing in
front of a huge audience. At first the band experienced a huge stage fright but
as soon as the crowd began to participate, we knew we need to have an awesome
performance. We felt the vibe and adrenaline rush. We put out our skills to the
maximum extent. Our vocalists sang to their full potential, our drummer
blindfolded himself while playing and the rest of the band banged their heads
like there’s no tomorrow. It was already
a good night for the band but it became more ecstatic when we were crowned as
the champions. I’m so proud of our band and now I missed them so much.
This
marks the end of the blog. Thank you for your time!
